September 2010: Staff Profile: Kelsey Marsh
Kelsey
I am the newest member of the Area Floors team. It has been an exciting transition for me and I have learned so much. This is my first experience in the flooring industry, although I have worked in a number of fields within the construction industry.
I feel fortunate to be given the opportunity to start a new career in such a dynamic and ever changing industry and I really appreciate the people I work with who have been so patient and helpful to me as I transition into a new line of work. I enjoy working with the products we sell as well as learning about them from the reps and my co-workers. It is very rewarding putting together colors, textures and surfaces for customers that are going to use my ideas in their homes. I want them to be proud of the work we’ve done together.

On a personal note, I live with my soul mate Kristen and two beautiful kids, Emily 16, and little Isabella 6. We like to go to the park, the beach and the movies. We also love Hawaii and go there to visit our cousins when we can. Emily is an outstanding student at Grant High School. She is hoping to get her drivers license soon. Bella goes to Roseway Heights and will be starting kindergarten this fall. She is an inquisitive, rugged child who would just as soon climb trees than play with barbies. Kristen is the love of my life and has helped me become a better person through our relationship and her encouragement. She is forever optimistic and I really respect that about her.
