Staff Profile : Debbie Deadmond

I have a background in retail as a manager of a well-known women’s clothing company and am excited to bring my retail experience to the flooring industry. I have always enjoyed working with the client, and helping the client look and feel good about themselves, and now I can bring my eye for fashion to the flooring industry. I have always had a passion for fashion and design and look forward to creating beautiful and comfortable looks and spaces for our clients. I have been at area floors for exactly 5 days now (started 9/14/11) and so far so good!!!!

I was born and raised in Portland, Oregon. I moved to Bend, Oregon in 1997 and lived there for 13 years. I recently moved back to the Portland/Vancouver area, and am so happy to be back home. I have two wonderful boys, Alex who is 21 and lives in Seattle, Washington and Andrew who is 18 and is currently attending the University of Portland, and hopes to become a nurse.

I have a love for many things in life, dancing, jazz, ice skating, cooking, drinking great wine, eating great food, watching sunsets, baseball, travel and new adventures. I am so happy to be a part of the Area Floors team and look forward to a great year!!!
