Vinyl & Linoleum Flooring

Vinyl FlooringVinyl Flooring is the most common type of flooring options, it’s been around for decades and it is still one of the most popular types of flooring. Resilient flooring is easy to install, easy to clean and it comes in many types of products for your floors. There are several types of vinyl flooring and we have them all.

Felt back vinyl sheet goods are most common, they come in several quality’s & price ranges and can be very affordable. Fiber Floors have become an easy alternative, these vinyl sheets have 3 installation methods – full spread glue, releasable adhesive or loose lay. LVT also known as luxury vinyl tile comes in tile and plank form, glue down or with a floating locking system. Luxury vinyl tiles are a great choice for easy installation and flexibility.

Vinyl comes in Tiles and Planks to mimic the look of wood, tile or stone with the exceptional durability and performance of a vinyl. The installation can differ depending on the manufacture, most tile looks can be installed with or with out grout, and some of the wood planks can come with locking systems so they can float. At about the same cost of a high end laminate, LVT is a great alternative if you’re looking for water resistance and scratch protection.

Visit Area Floors at one of our showrooms in Portland, Tigard or Wilsonville Oregon to see samples of vinyl flooring we offer from Manington, Tarkett, Sobella, Marmoleum, & Armstrong.
